Review of the Incubator Co-Creation Day 2025 at Variosystems

On 22 May 2025, Variosystems opened the doors to the first Incubator Co-Creation Day in Zizers. Under the motto ‘Co-Creating Leading Innovators’, industry experts, customers and partner companies came together to discuss current technologies and trends in the electronics industry.

The spirit of optimism was palpable from the moment the guests arrived: with a common goal of driving innovation through collaboration. In an inspiring atmosphere, the event provided an ideal platform for dialog, networking and co-creation.

The technical presentations provided interesting insights into key future topics for the industry:

• Klaus Kohl-Schoepe & Daniel Barth from Arrow Electronics opened with a detailed overview of current developments in microcontrollers, processors and FPGA technologies.
• Romeo Premerlani from Varioprint highlighted the megatrends in electronics and their impact on the PCB industry.
• Alain Lüdi from Glyn presented innovative approaches to customized displays and controls – a key topic in human-machine interaction.
• Roger Caviezel from Evulution showed how digitalization in the power distribution network is helping to increase efficiency and sustainability.
• Rolf Michel, CEO of MICHEL ITC, rounded off the program with insights into complete B2B HMI solutions and the digital product passport.

After the presentations, the participants had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes during a guided tour of the Variosystems production facilities – a highlight that combined theory and practice and allowed for a lively exchange on a technical level.

The event concluded with a drinks reception where discussions continued in a relaxed atmosphere and new contacts were made.
