Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated candidate to join our Finance Department, to ensures financial recordkeeping and reporting for the company, handling daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and compliance with statutory and group-wide accounting standards. The role supports both local and centralized finance processes, contributing to efficient month- end and year-end closings while maintaining internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• General Ledger Accounting: Record, review and reconcile all general transactions to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier Invoices, vendor payments and customer Invoices, and ensure timely collection and payment.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, Including accruals and reconciliations.
• VAT/Sales Tax, Tax & Compliance: Prepare and review VAT/Sales Tax/ Tax declaration, filings and support compliance with local tax regulations and Internal policies.
• Supporting Reporting & Controls: Assist with financial reporting, maintain Internal controls, and ensure proper documentation and archiving.

Required qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Fully / Partially qualified in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA.
• A MSc / Degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an audit firm or 5 years’ experience in mercantile sector.
• Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, with a particular expertise in Excel.
• Hands-on experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently with minimum supervision.
• Should be a dynamic professional with excellent communication and analytical skills.
