We’re increasing our solar capacity in Sri Lanka
Our Sri Lanka production site is taking another major step toward sustainable energy. Solar power has already proven its value at our Badalgama site and with an expanded solar infrastructure for our new building, we are now increasing our self-generated power usage to 60%.
Materials have been delivered, and the installation is already underway. In collaboration with Ibee Swiss and First Energy, a new photovoltaic system with a capacity of 799 kWp is currently being installed. This will soon be complemented by an additional 704 kWp system. Together with the existing infrastructure, the total installed solar capacity at the site will reach 2.3 MWp.
This investment underscores our commitment to renewable energy and marks an important milestone. By working together, we are building a more sustainable future.
